Prior to moving in, professional cleaning will be conducted at the premises. A cleaning fee will be added to your final rent invoice, as the premises are also expected to be professionally cleaned when you leave. The cleaning fee varies according to your premises. It is important to note that you must remove all your personal belongings and rubbish despite the scheduled cleaning to avoid any additional costs. The cleaning fee covers a general cleaning, but if the premises require a deep cleaning due to their condition upon return, additional costs may be incurred.
Please see the table below, which outlines the values for general cleaning:
The available amenities depend on the building in which you are staying. You can inquire about them by contacting the building manager or by exploring the area. Elevators in buildings typically display signs that show the building manager’s contact number and relevant information. The building may also have by-laws that restrict the use of certain amenities, which must be followed to avoid incurring penalty fees.
To secure your booking, a security deposit equivalent to 2 weeks’ rent must be paid to the Friendstay’s bank account before your check-in date. This deposit will be held by Friendstay during your stay and will serve as a guarantee for any damages, fees or outstanding payments on your checkout.
During the checkout process, Friendstay will inspect the condition of the property and refund the security deposit within 3 weeks. To ensure that the refund is processed smoothly, please send your bank details to
upon checkout. You will receive an email containing all the necessary information about your security deposit once it is processed.
The login credentials required for internet access are typically inscribed on a label situated beneath the modem. The location of the modem may vary depending on the premises. Most common places are: in the common areas next to the tv, inside the cabinet on top of the fridge or inside a bedroom wardrobe.
